Jones, Sr. and Charlie Palazzola with special guests to celebrate his two library of michigan notable book awards for 2017. his NEW books  from The Wayne State University Press: I Want to Be Once:New Poems &  Heaven Was Detroit: Essays on Detroit Music from Jazz to Hip Hop and Beyond won the 2017 award.
